A Perfect Day at Crail Golfing Society

There’s something magical about arriving at Crail Golfing Society just as the sea fret lifts, revealing the sun glistening over the coastline. With the gorse starting to bloom and the old boathouse standing proudly in the distance, the landscape was nothing short of stunning.

Founded in 1786, Crail is steeped in history, and its character is hard to beat. The pro shop was one of the friendliest I have ever witnessed, making my family feel so welcome. I just wish I could play this course all the time!
The blend of rugged beauty and golfing heritage makes it an inspiring place—not just to play, but to create. I can’t wait to start working on my next piece, capturing the essence of this incredible course.
