Commissions
Every course Keir paints is one he has walked. Commissions are open for courses on both sides of the Atlantic — Scottish links, English parkland, American private clubs.
From a visit
Keir photographs the course himself on a dedicated visit. The resulting painting carries the full weight of his attention — the light he saw, the land as it opened up to him. This is the foundation of every commission.
A combination of both
Keir's own photography combined with your reference images — a favourite hole, a particular view, a moment from a memorable round. Your images help shape what the painting is about; Keir's attention to the course shapes how it is painted.
From your photography
For courses Keir has already walked and knows, a commission can be built around your own photography. You bring the memory; he brings the understanding of the place.
How it works
Every commission begins with a conversation about the course, the space the painting will hang in, and what you want the work to say. From there Keir provides a brief, a timeline, and a price. Typical turnaround is 8–12 weeks from brief to delivery.
All commissions are one-off originals. No two paintings of the same course are identical.
